Position Summary Information

Position Summary

Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a part-time instructor of Health Informatics in the Computer Science Department beginning January 2018. In the Fall of 2016, the Computer Science Department began offering a MS in Health Informatics. Duties consist of teaching an online class in the new MS in Health Informatics

Minimum Qualifications

M.S. degree in Business or Information Technology and a B.S. in Information Science or a related field.
Experience in the Health Informatics field.
A minimum of 5 years of management experience in Healthcare.
Successful performance in an interview and teaching demonstration.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience at the MS level, online teaching experience, and expertise in Health Informatics, laws and ethics.
