Position Summary Information

Position Summary

The successful applicant will teach intermediate and advanced courses in SRU’s Computing program. The topics include server-side and client-side scripting languages (PHP, Unix shell, Javascript), graphical programming environments (web and mobile devices) using vector and pixel-based approaches (SVG, Canvas, CSS), and interactive computer graphics that utilizes raster and random display devices in the development of software in languages that support rendering and animation.

Minimum Qualifications

MS or BS with equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Science or related field. Commitment to the education of diverse populations. Successful performance in an interview.

Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D. in Computing field, experience teaching at the undergraduate level in a university setting
